Save your neck with a properly adjusted head rest!

Did you know that most people don’t have their head rest set properly in their car?
Ever wonder what is the safest position for your head rest?
Your head rest should be higher than your head, and about 1 inch away from the back of your head to maximize the safety benefits.
If your head rest is set too low, if you are hit from behind, your body will rise up in the seat, and your head will travel backwards over the head rest, and this can seriously injure your neck. Or if it is set to far back, your head travels farther than it should before being restrained, and again it can be injured.
So do yourself and your friends a favor, check your head restraints in your car next time you take a ride.
